About us
At Furever Yours Cats, we're more than just a nonprofit organization. We are a loving community for both cats and people. Our rescue and adoption center will feature a cozy cat café atmosphere where you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or a soft drink, and have a snack. Here, you will be able to meet and bond with our free-roaming cats in a stress-free, uncaged environment. Plus, with our full veterinary facility dedicated to our resident animals, we will make sure every cat is healthy and well-cared for. Come join us and find your perfect furry companion!
The Facility
Our facility will offer a serene, spa-like atmosphere where you’ll find soothing music and large screen TVs in each cat room to keep our feline friends mentally stimulated.
With large windows bringing in natural light and providing views of the outdoors, our cats will stay entertained and happy. Many rooms will also have access to an outdoor “catio” where they can enjoy fresh air and sunlight.
We even have a special room just for kittens, ensuring they have a safe and playful space to grow. In the main room, you will be able to unwind with a cup of coffee and a snack while deciding which cat will become your new "Furever" friend.
For more personal interaction, we have a "meet and greet" room where you can spend one-on-one time with your future cat. To keep our environment low-stress and comfortable for the cats, we will welcome visitors by appointment only.
Our Mission
We’re excited to share that we are in the midst of a fundraising campaign to bring the “Furever Yours Cats” building you see here to life. Our goal is to establish this wonderful space in the heart of Pahrump’s main shopping district, and we need your help to make it happen.
The Founders
In 2017, our founders adopted a beautiful little kitten they named "Sammi." Over the years this little creature changed their lives. With absolute unconditional love and endless amounts of energy and playfulness, this cat totally consumed their lives. With his own language he was able to communicate his every need and want. His expressions had them wrapped around his little paw, getting him everything he wanted.
Three years later they decided they wanted to create a rescue, where every one of these beautiful little creatures, whether abandoned or surrendered would have a home, where they would be treated with love and kindness until they were adopted out to their new cat parents. Furever Yours Cats was then created. The idea was to have these cats live in an environment which was stress free, full of stimulation and complete with it's own medical facility to ensure the health and well-being of all the animals.
We would like to thank the founders, Ted and Arlene Schlazer, for The Schlazer Family Foundation, for their inspiration to make this rescue a reality.
